Teairra started to work with Jay-Z to create “Make Her Feel Good” along with producer Sean Garrett, the lead single of her debut album on Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. The single reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the R&B Charts and was heavily played on BET music video network. After releasing her second and third single “No Daddy” and “Phone Booth” with a luke warm success,Jay-Z granted Teairra an advance to start work on her sophmore album “Second Round” in early 2006. But Teairra was dropped from Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam Records and the production of the album got scrapped.
Teairra Mari flew down to L.A. to meet up with Cudda Love, who which later granted her a record deal with Fo Reel Entertainment.Teairra started to work on her sophmore album entitled “At That Point”. In early 2008 Teairra released a Benny Boom directed promo music video for her promo single “Hunt 4 U” featuring Pleasure P, which granted her a Warner Bro’s & Alysium record deal.
Teairra went into the studio with Rico Love, who's executive producer of the album, in early March 2011 to work on new music for her album. A snippet from a song shown in clip of them recording that's suppose to be for the album titled "That's All Me" features Rico Love, and is rumored to be the first single. It's also announced that Teairra is doing another mixtape titled Now or Never. She hopes to have this out this spring while hoping the album gets an official release this upcoming summer.
